Built in 1158, and situated in the middle of the town, the ruins of St Andrews Cathedral are a hauntingly beautiful sight that must be seen.
The Old Course
A rite of passage for golfing enthusiasts, the legendary Old Course in St Andrews is the world’s oldest golf course.
Scotland’s Secret Bunker
Hidden beneath an unsuspicious farmhouse is the underground Cold War bunker museum, reaching depths of 100ft.
St Andrews Aquarium
With black tip reef sharks, seals, penguins and more than 100 fish species (and meerkats!). The Aquarium promises a great day out for the family.
Craigtoun Country Park
Spanning 47 acres with its own mini-railway, Craigtoun Country Park is a gorgeous day out. Plus, it’s only a ten minute drive from Stewart’s Resort.
West Sands Beach
Famously featured in the opening scenes of Chariots of Fire, West Sands Beach extends for almost 2 miles of uninterrupted sand – perfect for walks or even a swim.
